The Magh Mela at Prayagraj is one of the most sacred spiritual congregations in India, held on the holy land where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati converge. On this divine occasion, Puja Help Foundation presents a Grand Mahamrityunjay Mantra Japa Maha-Anushthan, dedicated to Devadhidev Mahadev, on the sacred banks of Mokshadayini Maa Ganga from 3 January to 15 February.
The Mahamrityunjay Mantra, revered as the Mantra of Victory over Death, is a powerful Vedic chant known for protecting devotees from illness, fear, untimely dangers, and negative energies, while bestowing longevity, mental peace, and spiritual strength. When chanted on the holy banks of Maa Ganga during the sacred month of Magh, the spiritual potency of this mantra increases manifold.
Physical presence at the ritual site is not mandatory. Devotees can participate from anywhere and arrange Mahamrityunjay Mantra Japa in their desired number of repetitions for themselves and their families. The experienced and learned priests of Puja Help Foundation perform a proper Vedic Sankalp in the devotee’s name and gotra, followed by Mahamrityunjay Mantra chanting as per the chosen count, and a Havan (Sacred Fire Ritual) upon completion.
For those who wish to be more closely connected, there is also an option to join the Sankalp via video call and personally pronounce one’s name and gotra during the ritual.
This sacred ceremony offers divine blessings for health, protection, peace, prosperity, family harmony, and spiritual upliftment, allowing devotees to receive the grace of Lord Shiva and Maa Ganga without distance being a barrier. With faith as the foundation, this divine connection transcends physical presence.
